Talking to so many artists every day the biggest challenge we're facing is getting in touch with digital distributors. Well, I am here to give you the skinny, they will NEVER make it easy to get in contact with them, at least not by phone.
If you want to put in a ticket for a callback, you better be by your phone when they call or hope that when you do talk to someone your issue is resolved on that phone call because you don't know if you'll ever hear from them again.
We have to face the fact that along with our release, these distributors are getting thousands of other submissions daily. While we'd love to believe that ours should be so special to receive priority treatment, the truth is, it's tough to get to all the questions.
It's why I always advise having physical merch to sell to your fans, count your profit with your hands, it's much easier to manage.
